Feeding Google Ads Bidding Engines
Search campaigns on Google Ads are highly effective for capturing ClickBank buyers who are actively searching for product reviews and discount codes.
To make Google's Smart Bidding optimize for high-intent searchers, you must feed conversion data back to Google Ads.
Using PostbackFlow, you can automatically intercept ClickBank sales data and upload it directly as a Google Ads conversion event in real-time.

Step 1: Configure Auto-Tagging in Google Ads
Ensure Google Ads is capturing the click ID:
1. Go to Settings -> Account Settings in your Google Ads account.
2. Verify Auto-tagging is checked (this appends the gclid query parameter to your ad destinations).
---
Step 2: Set Up ClickBank Campaign in PostbackFlow
1. Go to Tracking Links in the PostbackFlow console and click + New Campaign.
2. Select ClickBank from the templates list.
3. Save the campaign and copy the generated Postback URL:
https://postbackflow.com/postback/YOUR_TOKEN?click_id={tid}&payout={payout}
---
Step 3: Set Up the Postback in ClickBank
1. Log in to your ClickBank Account.
2. Go to Vendor Settings -> My Site and locate the Advanced Tools section.
3. Click Edit and paste your Postback URL in the Instant Notification URL field:
https://postbackflow.com/postback/YOUR_TOKEN?click_id={tid}&payout={payout}¤cy=USD&event_type=purchase
4. Save changes.
---
Step 4: Map Google Ads Webhook
Ensure your Google Ads Webhook configuration is active in the Ad Platforms page inside PostbackFlow (requires Customer ID and the exact Conversion Action Name).
When a search visitor clicks your Google ad, PostbackFlow maps the Google click ID (gclid) to their unique tracking session (tid).
When ClickBank registers a sale, it alerts PostbackFlow, which matches the session and pushes the offline conversion directly to Google Ads via webhooks.
