Why MaxBounty Requires Postbacks
MaxBounty is a premier CPA (Cost Per Action) affiliate network. Since most MaxBounty campaigns pay on leads, app installs, or form submits, conversions happen instantly on the advertiser's portal.
Because you cannot place browser pixels on advertiser landing pages, you must rely on Postback tracking (also known as server-to-server or S2S tracking) to receive conversion confirmation.

Step 1: Set Up the Campaign in PostbackFlow
First, register the campaign in PostbackFlow.
1. Go to the Tracking Links page in your PostbackFlow console.
2. Click + New Campaign.
3. Select MaxBounty from the network template list.
* PostbackFlow will automatically map the MaxBounty click ID parameter:
* Click ID Param: s1 (MaxBounty stores custom click sub-IDs inside the s1 variable).
4. Save the campaign and copy the generated Postback URL:
https://postbackflow.com/postback/YOUR_TOKEN?click_id={s1}&payout={payout}
---
Step 2: Configure the Postback in MaxBounty Dashboard
1. Log in to your MaxBounty Affiliate Portal.
2. Select the campaign offer you want to promote.
3. Scroll down to the Creative Search / creative settings area.
4. Locate the Callback / Postback Type dropdown and select URL (Postback).
5. In the Callback Code input box, paste your copied Postback URL.
6. Replace the placeholder tokens with MaxBounty's native macros:
* Map your click ID parameter to MaxBounty's click macro: click_id=#s1#
* Map your payout parameter to MaxBounty's payout macro: payout=#rate#
7. Your final postback string in MaxBounty should look like this:
https://postbackflow.com/postback/YOUR_TOKEN?click_id=#s1#&payout=#rate#
8. Click Save Pixel.

Step 3: Run the Offer Link
When generating your tracking link from MaxBounty, the URL looks like:https://www.mb01.com/lnk.asp?o=XXXX&c=XXXX&a=XXXX
When you create your tracking redirect link inside PostbackFlow, the tracker will automatically append &s1=CLICK_ID to this offer link when a visitor clicks your ad, keeping the tracking cycle complete.
When a lead converts, MaxBounty will fire your postback URL, passing the original s1 value back to PostbackFlow, which maps the conversion to your traffic stats.
